Direct from Next Generation Motorsports, the Defender cold air intake for 2.0L Genesis Coupes utilizes the stock air routing direct into a heat shield-style chamber which encloses a high-flow filter.  This intake is unique in that it uses a short ram mentality with cold air benefits - a growing trend in the aftermarket tuning community!  However, we decided against heat-retaining aluminum or other metals for the heat shield and instead will be offering customers a choice of real carbon fiber (for any CF junkies out there), standard black fiberglass (will flow with any color scheme) or custom-painted fiberglass (for those who wish to match the exterior of the car).  Hoses/couplers will be available in different colors as well.  More info to be available closer to the product's release!  Installation is as simple as any short ram intake on the market, as opposed to cold air designs that require the removal of the front bumper, wheel, wheel well liner, washer bottle relocation, etc.
